Extensive Experience
For forty years, CommuniQuest has facilitated public hearings, meetings and workshops as well as mediating multi-party mediations for airports, cities, regional and state agencies. CommuniQuest has extensive experience facilitating and mediating many aspects of aviation and airport projects including FAR Part 150 Studies, Part 161 Studies, airspace studies, master plans, and tenant issues.

This consensus-planning specialty has been demonstrated in projects for Regional Transportation Planning Agencies (RTPAs), individual airports, aviation user groups, the Federal Aviation Administration as well as for CalTrans Division of Aeronautics and aircraft manufacturers.

CommuniQuest is a woman-owned business specializing in dispute resolution services for businesses as well public agencies. For the past 39 years, firms including Sikorsky Aircraft, Southwest Airlines, RAND Corporation, Castle & Cooke, Inc. have retained CommuniQuest in a variety of facilitation and mediation services. CommuniQuest has worked internationally, in particular with the Japanese on conflict resolution issues associated with public-use heliports and helicopter activity.
Contractor to FAA
In addition CommuniQuest has been a contractor to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to teach community involvement and conflict resolution courses to management personnel. CommuniQuest was also a contractor to the FAA prior to and during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta to provide community outreach and conflict management related to aviation noise issues.
